 Alexis Ingram is a non-union/SAG-E actor. She was born and raised in Providence, RI! She splits her time working between Rhode Island, Boston, and New York. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2013 where she studied theatre with Michael Early, Ed Sherin, David Caparelliotis, Fanchon Schier, Christine Farrell, Dave McRee, Sterling Swann and many more amazing theatre artists. She has also studied and worked with La MaMa ETC participating in their Actor and Playwriting programs in Umbria Italy. Other training/theatre work includes: Daughters of Elysium, Elemental Theatre Collective, The University of Rhode Island, The Gamm Theatre, Trinity Repertory Company, Rebel Theatre Company, Out Loud Theatre, Third Eye Theatre Troupe, The Wilbury Group, CAP Casting, Carolyn Pickman Casting, and LDI Casting.


She is currently a teaching artist at Tony-Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company. 

 Alexis has been doing background work and acting in the indie/student film scene in NY and New England. Favorite TV/film gigs include: The Greatest Showman on Earth,Irrational Man, Bluebloods, Law & Order SVUOrange is the New BlackMadam Secretary, and many more.

   Alexis was accepted to The Actor's Studio and East 15/University of Essek in London and was first on the wait-list at Harvard ART. Alexis would love to get her MFA and is currently training with Tony Estrella- actor & artistic director of The Gamm and Thom Jones- head of voice and speech at Brown/Trinity. She has taught improv, scene study, and Shakespeare to elementary, middle school and high school students for the past few years. She has taught at YASI Jr. (Trinity Rep), Middle School Scene Study (Trinity Rep) and various theatre classes at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI.  An Original member of the teen improv troupe The Trinity Zoo and a founding member of The Inverted Jennys.
